Marla Bills, a long time part of our community died of cancer yesterday.
Our hearts go out to her husband Poncet Bills, a long time area doctor; and daughter Courtney & Jared Soergel who were recently married on Sat. June 11 in Cincinnati, OH.
Many friends and neighbors will mourn this loss as we remember Marla- her spirit and her smile.

Marla was a regular member of the Wednesday Meditation Group and concerned about local and national politics and issues.  Courtney wrote  “She stood up for what she believed in and was one of the most determined, purposeful, pragmatic people I’ve ever known”.
