For Sunday, July 31, 2022  we will discuss when we and distinguished
columnists were wrong.  For reading, there is a set of short essays in the
NY Times titled “I was wrong about…”  You can read as many or as few as you
like.  I particularly recommend the one by David Brooks.  We can also share
things we were wrong about.

I am posting a convenient, printable 14 page Google Docs version with all
the essays. Or, If you have a Times subscription, you can read each of
these essays on the Times site with illustrations and links and even audio.

by Nitish Pahwa Can be read without a password on Slate. There is also one

that only on paper. I don't know if Manchin's recent reversal on climate
legislation means that the writer will change his mind.
