Please join us this evening at 6 p.m. for the Marietta Tour of Lights—FUUSM is on the tour! We will wave to cars as they pass by, and afterward enjoy a campfire and marshmallows in the courtyard. 

On the third Sunday of Advent, the topic will: Love the Earth. Please bring stuffed animals to loan for our display!

FUUSM is collecting donations for the Humane Society throughout December in the social hall. Also, bring stuffed animals to loan for our display. 



A note from FUUSM Board of Trustees: 

Holiday gift donations to the FUUSM staff must be turned in by December 18 in order to allow time for the gifts to be distributed for Christmas. To contribute, write a check to FUUSM, including a note on the memo line: “Staff Gifts,” or, use cash. (For bookkeeping accountability and safety’s sake, checks are preferred.) Place it in an envelope that is also marked “Staff Gifts,” and 1) Place in the offering plate; 2) Place in a box/can marked “Staff Gifts” in the back of the sanctuary or downstairs in the social hall; or 3) Drop it off at the FUUSM office. You may also mail a check to FUUSM, 232 Third St., Marietta, OH 45750, but please do not mail cash! Thank you for your generosity and attention to these details! 

Warming House Volunteers Needed
Thank you to everyone who has contributed a meal for the Warming House so far this fall. I am looking for more volunteers for January and February. Thursdays are our days to provide meals for 10 to 12 people. Meals can be dropped off between 11:30 and noon at the Community Resource Center, which is right beside the flag store on Front Street. If you can help with this project please get in touch with me. Beth Lepore, shimplepore at suddenlink.net, (740) 525 1423. 

FUUSM representatives are needed to serve on the Empty Bowls planning committee. If this is your calling, please contact Virginia Mayle at (740) 376-9921.
