*Looking Ahead*

*Starting Soon: Braiding Sweetgrass Discussion Group*
Join us for a book discussion group, in person and on Zoom. Read 1/3 of
the book per month! You have time for that!
To register and receive the syllabus, Zoom link, and more information,
email Maggie at meyer45750 at gmail.com, with “Braiding Sweetgrass
discussion” in the subject line. Include your name, phone number, and
email address.
Discussions will be at 12:30 p.m. on May 8, June 12, and July 10 at the
First Unitarian Universalist Society of Marietta.

*Mark your calendars! The 2022 FUUSM Plant Sale will take place on
Saturday, May 21, from 10-2 in the courtyard and along Third Street. *

Of course, a plant sale requires plants, so please think of us while you
are doing your spring garden cleanup. The offspring of enthusiastic
plants are welcome, along with garden art, gently used tools, cute
containers, and the like. If you have plants to donate, please label
them. And if you can let us know ahead of time what you will be
bringing, that would be great for publicity. Email Rebecca Phillips
(bennphil at hotmail.com) with your list, and I will create teaser ads for
the sale's Facebook page. Plant and garden item donations should be
dropped off in the church courtyard by 8:00 AM on Friday, May 20, for
pricing.
