[Fuusm-l] 2022 Plant Sale

I will have PLENTY of plants for the sale. Both ones started
from seed and ones out of the garden. I will send a list to
you possibly next week or the first week in May.

I will not be there at 8:00am, but before noon. We may need
to bring both the car and the truck - full loads.

Mark your calendars! The 2022 FUUSM Plant Sale will take
place on Saturday, May 21, from 10-2 in the courtyard and
along Third Street. We don't know yet what all we will have,
but Chris Hoke's fabulous zinnias are definitely making an
appearance.  

 

Of course, a plant sale requires plants, so please think of
us while you are doing your spring garden cleanup. The
offspring of enthusiastic plants (other than invasives--we
really do not want barberry--and you probably don't want to
dig it out, anyway) are welcome, along with garden art,
gently used tools, cute containers, and the like. If you
have plants to donate, please label them: our volunteers may
not know what they are. And if you can let us know ahead of
time what you will be bringing, that would be great for
publicity. Email Rebecca Phillips (bennphil at hotmail.com
<mailto:bennphil at hotmail.com> ) with your list, and I will
create teaser ads for the sale's Facebook page. Plant and
garden item donations should be dropped off in the church
courtyard by 8:00 AM on Friday, May 20, for pricing.
