Dear FUUSM Friends, 
This year, the FUUSM yard sale netted close to $1700.00, and will reach more than $2000.00 (we hope) once a home is found for the beautiful oak armoire donated by Dawn Hewitt.  If you or someone you know might be interested, it is in the fellowship hall, and disassembles completely for moving. Asking price is $350.00 (a steal). 
This sale wouldn’t have happened without the oversight and efforts of Shari Ballantyne, who stepped up and coordinated the details to make it happen. As you all know, it’s a big job that a lot of us simply don’t have the time or muscle power for these days. Shari’s idea of asking people to price their own items went a long way toward making it less work  for those involved in setting up.  
Thank you to all who helped in any way at all, even if it was by purchasing a treasure or two.  Between this sale and last weekend’s plant sale (kudos to the plant ladies!) more than $2500 has been raised, all thanks to the efforts of FUUSM members and friends. 
Here’s a big round of applause for all!
