How can we be a transformative Beloved Community? Are we practicing radical hospitality? Who do we call the Other? Centering voices from the margins can help to shift the power dynamics in any group, congregation or association. Without other voices, we limit our perspective and resources for change.
• FUUSM Virtual Choir performs "What Is Life?"

FUUSM Happenings
Let’s Go Fly a Kite!!
For every family that flies a kite, the Ballantynes will donate $25 to FUUSM. Flying has started and ends May 1st. On the second of May we will draw for the winner of a $100 gift certificate. Take a picture of your family flying a kite and send it to the fuusm email list for all to see - You will have to run, let go, and watch it soar!
If you make your own kite, and get it in the air, we will donate an extra $5 bonus for your family's kite outing. You may enter as many times as you like, however: after your first kiting you must donate $10 to FUUSM. We will pay for your family's first outing only. You will be placed in the drawing for every kite you fly, which means if you fly 3 kites, you pay for 2, and will be in the drawing 3 times.
The Cherish ALL Life Project
You’re invited to make a mini movie on your phone to investigate this years’ theme question: How can we be mindful and authentic in cherishing all life? I am asking members and friends to make a short movie, so we as viewers can experience the life of the one who creates the movie. Photos are welcome and will be in the final product but try a short movie. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about the joy and love for ALL life. Spring is coming
and anticipation brings hope and joy to share in service. Send your movie to me – Jane Tumas-Serna (jtumas.serna at gmail.com)
Come Help with the Warming House Project 312 Front Street, beside the First Congregation Church
in Marietta. 12 3:30pm, Monday thru Saturday. (Closed Sunday)
Volunteers are needed for serving and food preparation for each Tuesday until May first. A two hour commitment (usually 12:30 to 2:30pm). We have learned that lots of sweets are not necessary, and that meat, salad, rolls, potatoes and cornbread are big hits. If you can volunteer please let me know.
