The Today's Issues group meets at 9:30 on Sunday mornings in the parlor of
the Religious Education building next to the church. Attendance has been
increasing, but there's still room for a few more. For this Sunday, we
will discuss two essays from the July 1 issue of the New York Review of
Books:

page 34, Linda Greenhouse, "Grievance Conservatives are here to Stay
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nyzVLcsMabXthPa79utu9b6bBQWzf3sHTnJcPoPxG4s/edit?usp=sharing>"
a review of two books about the rise of religious nationalism,

page 51, Caitlin Zaloom, "The Broken Promise of Retirement
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tbiTOnv-ctyRaHtgl0f3ghbAzqtj7ye0ZN25DtF51vE/edit?usp=sharing>,"
a review of four books about the insecurity of retirement plans.

Please check out the attached essays and join our lively discussion.
