Worship Leader: Rebecca Phillips Habitat loss is the primary cause of extinction of non-human species. The good news is that each of us can help to address this crisis while beautifying our communities, meeting the neighbors, and having fun--not to mention cherishing all life. How? By joining the Homegrown National Park movement. Rebecca will share the efforts taking place both nationally and locally, with information on how we can put the Mid-Ohio Valley (literally) on the map.

Sunday July 11, 2021 Growing Your Own National Park Rebecca Phillips

“Our National Parks, no matter how grand in scale are too small and separated from one another to preserve species to the levels needed.  Thus, the concept for Homegrown National Park, a bottom-up call-to-action to restore habitat where we live and work, and to a lesser extent where we farm and graze, extending national parks to our yards and communities.” Doug Tallamy
