Hi Randy,

I am sorry I cannot help by giving a home for your kitty, or help with your housekeeping. However, I can refer you to the Area council on Aging with the hope they may be able to provide help sooner, rather than later, aside from the Senior Center or Community Action. Since you are having a hard time physically in keeping up with the chores in your home they may be able to send someone to help. I don’t know your age, but if you have disability issues of any kind, perhaps there are additional agencies that could provide assistance. I hope there are others with connections who might have some recommendations. Thank you for letting Fuusm friends know what is happening and what you need.

Subject: [Fuusm-l] Chumbuddy Cat

It saddens me to ask, but would anybody like to adopt a male neutered indoors cat (he still has his claws), or know someone who would? His name is Chumbuddy, born on Easter Sunday five years ago. Very friendly, playful and affectionate, occasionally purrs like a Mack truck without a muffler. I do not have a pet carrier.                                                                                                            I'm reluctant to say, but I'm getting unable to care properly for him or keep up with some major domestic chores. My physical emotional health have been deteriorating for several years. I tried applying for some domestic help at The O'Neil Center and Community Action over a year ago and am still waiting.
