Sat. Aug. 21 SUMMER MOVIE NIGHTS AT THE BALLANTYNES' OUTDOOR THEATER
Every Saturday evening in August, Dave and Shari invite you to a FUNdraiser Movie Night. Entry fee: $5.00 per person - "Theater food" available for purchase, plus beer, wine, and other beverages. - All money goes to FUUSM. –
Masks optional. RSVP (740-568-8200) so Dave and Shari know how much food to prepare and how many chairs to set out. Theater opens at 8p.m.; movie starts around 9 or 9:30, depending on arrival of darkness. In case of inclement weather, it will be rescheduled.

"Logan's Cabin: Insight into Multi-ethnic Living on the Ohio Frontier" - Dr. James O’Donnell, guest speaker Worship Leader: Suzyn Mills
Dr. O'Donnell is Thomas and McCoy Emeritus Professor of History at Marietta College, where he taught from 1969 -2011. He served the college as chair of the Department of History, Political Science, Religion and Philosophy, as well as division head; and he served the state of Ohio on the Ohio Humanities Council. Among many awards from Marietta College, he received research grants for his publications. His books include Southern Indians in the American Revolution; Southeastern Frontier, 1540-1840; Cradles of Conscience; Ohio's Independent Colleges and Universities; Ohio's First Peoples; and Out of the Mud: Hiram Carpenter and the Ohio River Valley.
