John Prine’s Compelling Music_/*. For five decades, John Prine churned 
out dozens of songs that sparked laughter, empathy, and tears.  And 
October 17, you can join in a musical online tribute to Prine, who died 
just a few months ago. The Columbus Folk Music Society is sponsoring the 
concert by 4 outstanding Columbus musicians: Patrick Casey, Renilda 
Marshall, Ed Tatum, and Mike Hale.  They share a special love for 
Prine’s Americana-style, story-telling songs about down-and-outers and 
just plain everyday people. There are two ways the general public can
