[Fuusm-l] Interim Guidance for Communities of Faith from the CDC

In our discussions of reopening, I don't think anyone has mentioned the Interim
Guidance for Communities of Faith
<https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/faith-based.html>
published by the Centers for Disease Control. A lot of it seems like
common sense, but there are things I hadn't thought of such as having a
collection box instead of passing a basket. Maybe we should Xerox the hymns
instead of sharing hymnals. When we revive coffee hour we may want to use
packaged snacks, unappealing as the idea may be. We don't share food as
part of our service as some churches do. It's worth looking at, we don't
need to recreate it ourselves: click here

This has nothing to do with *when* to reopen, that depends more on data
from the state and local health departments. Right now our area looks
quite good, but that can change.
