I don't understand why it will take a few weeks to establish the new CoVid rules to be followed in the sanctuary for AA. The ODHS has already established guidelines for group meetings. As I mention in my other e-mail, I am willing to gather the information from ODHS and AA. It shouldn't take more than a few hours or days at most to get the information

Kelcey,
A committee has been formed to work on protocols and its work will be communicated in due course. That process will take a few weeks, at least, and even then there may not be complete agreement. Accommodating the AA's urgent need would have required trusting the Board to make a short-term decision. Perhaps if we had communicated it better that could have happened, but I'm skeptical.

I think it would have been acceptable to most of the congregation to host AA, had it been made clear to the congregation that we were going to do so, and exactly what the protocol was going to be. I think they are worthy of making an exception for, and had there been better communication amongst ourselves we could have done so, and may still be able to reach out to them, with the proper protocols in place.
