[Fuusm-l] opening up

Annie,
It looks like the Board made a mistake by taking a vote and making a
decision. I thought we could take a vote and put aside what I thought was
a minor issue so we could get on to more important things such as our
budgetary situation. But it wasn't a minor issue to a lot of people. The
risk of church members getting Covid because the AA people were meeting in
the building seems negligible, especially since we aren't even going there
ourselves. Turning out the AA because we haven't got our guidelines
together for our own meetings seems out of keeping for a "church of the
helping hand". I hope they find a more helpful host.
Would it have been different if we had sent out an email to the list
explaining our reasoning in detail? Cory has done that now, but I, at
least, didn't anticipate the need for it. I'm not sure I should be on the
board at all, I seem to be out of touch with what really concerns the
members.
