All of us who seek to be conscious and aware regard our experiences as teachers, and we try to discern what lessons we are learning from the things that happen in our lives. Sometimes the lesson is very clear from the get-go, and other times we have to really search to understand the deeper meaning behind some event. While this search often yields results, there also comes a point in the search where what we really need to do is move forward.  Answers may come later in our lives, or they may come as a result of letting go, or they may never come.  [DailyOm]

Rune of fire, not wild, all-consuming flame, but tamed flame, domesticated fire, 

burning torch.

Kenaz represents strength, energy, power, clarity,

as well as unlocking potential, enthusiasm and conquering goals.

Peak of their abilities, senses sharpened- they are burning with passion 

and the will to overcome and learn.

Kenaz helps to break out of the routine and start something new, 

and find the energy to change your life.

We are in the process of building relationships and supporting networks that enhance the power of our UU congregations, advancing our individual and collective mission.  Democracy is empowered when we work from these shared values. In addition to FUUSM, the congregations in Appalachian cluster include: UU Fellowship of Athens, UU Fellowship of Greater Cumberland, UU Church of Hagerstown, New River UU Fellowship, UU Congregation in Charleston, West Fork UUs, and UU Fellowship of Huntington.

in the Office, Sanctuary & Social Hall.
