[Fuusm-l] It is Ludwig van Beethoven's 250th Birthday today

It is recorded that he was baptized on Dec. 17th, 1770. It is universally
accepted that he was born the day before, on Dec. 16th, (although
historical records are vague as to the exact date). Apparently it was
traditional in Germany at that time for infants to be baptized the day
after they were born, so Dec. 16th has been the traditionally accepted date.
