Thank-you!  Thank-you for your generous and over-whelming response to the appeal for contributions for our staff gifts fund.  It is most welcome & greatly appreciated.

Village Cakery Gift Certificates. Here’s an opportunity to purchase some of these gift certificates AND contribute to FUUSM at the same time. Here is how it will work:
For Sale - $25 Village Cakery Gift Certificate (could be used for 2 layer cake, 2 dozen donuts or 2 dozen cookies) ( $ Value of Gift Certificates donated by Linda and Ted)

Email lindalawton55 at gmail with how many you want.  You will then send Linda a check made out to FUUSM in the mail and she will mail you your Gift Certificate(s).

Sun. Dec.  13  (11am) Zoom  Light One Candle Interfaith Winter Holidays

When we focus on what the various holidays have in common, we need not ignore the unique and different contexts and cultures out of which they arise.  We affirm the unity and diversity of each expression, mindful of our shared and similar symbols and authentic in what we acknowledge is different. Diwali does not light candles in the dark to affirm the growing light. Channukah is not a Jewish version of Christmas.

 A Winter Solstice Spiral - 11am Zoom & Noon Live in the Courtyard with masks & safe spacing. 

The spiral will be open to the public in the courtyard through December, so you can walk it any time. 



Many thanks to all those of all ages who participated in the Holiday Card Project for area nursing homes.  

All the cards have gone out and many have been returned.   Thank you very much.

Thurs. Dec. 24    Annual Christmas Eve – Ring Out Wild Bells
Because of the early sunset, the time has been changed to make the Reverse Parade safer.
Gather before (5pm) when we will start the parade past FUUSM to share greetings, ring bells 

and share holiday cheer. Let us bring Joy to the World and answer the call to celebrate in unity and peace.

Line up in the bank parking lot before 5pm, bring your bells if you have them. The parade of cars will 

turn right out of the bank drive-thru aisles onto 3rd Street, move slowly past the front of FUUSM and turn right again at the light onto Putnam Street, where attendants with baskets with gratefully receive your gifts and offerings.  Enjoy the rest of your evening as you go about your merry way. 
Please join us for a Candlelight Service on Zoom (8pm) -use the FUUSM Main Link to gather from home.
There will be music, readings and a bedtime story; plan to have your candles ready for a glowing time on Zoom.
