Handed down generation to generation through grandmothers in our family. Great-great grandma, to great grandma, etc. My Momma said to me:

“A stitch in time, saves nine.” and “Whatever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might!” I have no idea of the actual origin.
I have used it as an inspiration to do things to the best of my ability the first time, taking my time, so as to not have to do them over.

We all have quotations that speak to us and inspire us.  I thought that sharing those via email would be a way to connect and learn as a church family during this period of social distancing.  So I am proposing that we start a chain of inspirational quotations.  I’ll just start and hope you join in.
