Today’s Issues Sept 15 2019

For this Sunday, September 15, the Today’s Issues group will discuss two
articles from the New York Review of Books.  We especially welcome people
who knew nothing about the topic before reading the articles. That’s the
point of the group.  You can access the articles from this mailing if you
don’t subscribe to the NYR.

Page 58, Martin Fuller, “The Unsinkable Modernist,” a review of three books
about the Bauhaus movement and its founder Walter Gropius. This was an
architecture and design movement and we will have a slide show with
pictures of many of the buildings discussed in the essay
