[Fuusm-l] Service Auction OPM

FUUSM Members & Friends:

   The Finance Committee has a message to all of you. It's the acronym OPM.


    OPM stands for other people's money.

    Shari Ballantyne has put a tremendous effort into arranging a fantastic array of items for our Service Auction (Saturday evening, November 9 at the Marietta College Gathering Place). We can only wring out so much money from FUUSM members & friends, i.e., those who usually attend our worship services and other activities). In order for a our Service Auction to be a financial success, we need to have other people (who may know of our work in the community and value us) attend the Service Auction.

    Please bring a friend or send the invitation and catalog (attached) to people who may know about us and may come to the auction if invited.

    I have started by sending a personalized invitation to some people in the Washington County Democratic Party, which has been assisted by many FUUSM members, such as Mark Redd, in the past.
