[Fuusm-l] Today's Issues Group Meets next on October 27

The Today’s Issues group will not meet on October 20, it will resume on
Sunday, October 27 to discuss two essays from the New York Review of Books.

>From page 53 of the September 26 issue, Sarah Churchwell, “American
Immigration: A Century of Racism,” about the history of immigration of
America.

>From page 9 of the October 10 issue, Sean Wilentz, “The Culmination of
Republican Decay

about the political dynamics of the Republican Party and the fate of the
“never Trumpers”.

The group meets in the parlor of the Religious Education building next to
the Church at 9:30 on Sunday mornings.  Please do the reading and join our
lively discussion.
