essays from the May 9 issue of The New York Review of Books

Page 22, Sean Wilentz, “How Our Politics Broke” about political
polarization in this country

Page 48, Alex Abramovich, “Dons of the Gulag,” about Russia’s super-Mafia.

The group meets at 9:30 on Sunday mornings in the parlor of the Religious
Education building next to the church.  Please do the readings and join our
