Announcements A-May-zing Month of Art exhibition in the Sanctuary
Members and friends, please bring one or two works of art to be shared with the congregation.
These can be paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and other 3-D works, poetry and literary contributions in a presentational format. We will place art contributions on the ledge around the room and on the various cases and easels. Bring them with you when you come to the Sunday morning service and place them at the back of the sanctuary, and we will arrange them. Sunday, May 19 (After the service) in the Fellowship Hall Special Potluck Send-off Luncheon to honor Nancy & Ernie Novak, Paul Dunn and Susan Neely, who are leaving the area this summer, as well as Farmer Tantoh -our speaker that morning. Please contact the Church Office if you plan to attend and bring a dish to share for this very special occasion. We need volunteers for -Set up/clean up, and kitchen help during the luncheon. If you know what you would like to bring- Entrée, salad, dessert, etc. please contact the office.
2019 ANNUAL FUUSM YARD SALE - JUNE 1 & 2 We are seeking gently used, clean and working household items for the sale, plus we need lots of volunteers to assist in all aspects, including set up (Thurs.& Fri., May 30 & 31), selling on June 1 & 2, and organizing the bake sale. Shifts will be 9am.-12:30pm., & 12:30 pm.- 4pm., on Saturday; 12:30-3pm.on Sunday. Donated items may be dropped off at the church on Thurs., May 30, noon to 5 pm., or you may call John Kidd at 740 473 2361 to arrange for pick up. Please call Nancy Lee, Chair, at 740 630 6326 with questions or for volunteer sign up. We cannot accept clothing, shoes, books ,magazines, obsolete electronic items, 8 track, video or cassette tapes, paint or other chemicals.

Sun., June 16-The 2019 Plant Sale. If you are thinning or dividing perennials, have too many seedlings, or need to thin the house plant collection, please consider donating the extras to the plant sale. Nice containers and gently used garden tools and accessories are also welcome. We will be pricing plants at 9 AM on Sat., June 15, so we ask that you bring your plants to the courtyard no later than that. You can leave them on Friday if that better suits your schedule.
Rev. Hawbaker will be traveling in India May 1st-10th.
