Luncheon Symposium on Food Allergies in Science & Society 12:00-1:30 PM: . There will be a 4-person panel including a microbiologist who specializes in pediatrics, a psychologist, a health communication specialist, and the director of dining services at Marietta College. More details on this are provided at the bottom of this email. The location for the luncheon is the Trustee Conference Room on the second floor of the Dyson-Baudo Recreation Center (over looking Fenton Court where the basketball teams play).

Human and Environmental Microbial Health: A Global Perspective 7:00-8:00 PM: This is our annual Krause Science Lecture. Our guest lecturer this year is Dr. Jack Gilbert from University of California-San Diego. He has a joint appointment in the Department of Pediatrics and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. The location for this is the McDonough Center Auditorium. This event is also free and open to the public. No need to RSVP for this one. The annual Krause Science Lecture is intended to engage the community on various aspects of science and public health. The lectures are geared to a general audience.
