On Sunday morning, I joined Sue Montera and family in Spirit of Life, a final farewell and release to honor the end of life of Bill Held who fought long and hard with cancer.
Plans are being made to have a Service in Celebration of Life in August for Bill Held, a loving partner, parent, peer and an amazing professional dancer. The service will be at Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with light refreshments provided at F.U.U.S.M. for family and friends following the service.

Bill Held may not have been a signatory to our Membership or attended regularly, but he and Sue Montera were faithful to this religious community. They were married in our Sanctuary in August 2007, shortly before I arrived in Marietta, OH.  Bill was one of those spouses who help support their partner's participation, and don't begrudge them, and may even benefit from their activity.
Bill & Sue offered dance instruction at the Art Auction last year, and offered their ballroom dancing classes regularly over the years at our annual FUUSM Service Auction. Some of us will remember the beautiful table Sue set for Women's Group last year, and how Bill did all the dishes. 
Bill was a kind and caring and talented man and we will miss him. Farewell friend.
