BRIDGES (11:30am) Young people going to Islamic Center in Athens, Ohio

On Jan. 27, 2019, a field trip is planned to the Islamic Center in Athens, OH to include both the RE class and youth group (children who attend either of the Sunday classes) – anyone who is interested is invited.  If you would like to participate, please contact Robin Bozian, Youth Group Leader, at robin at bozian.com to discuss travel arrangements.Robin has organized this trip previously for FUUSM youth groups. Peoples State of the Union (12:30-2:30pm) FH  Jane Tumas Serna

FUUSM will be participating in our second annual PEOPLE'S STATE OF THE UNION

in the Social Hall.  We will be doing story circles with six to ten people each.  Come with 

a short story to tell about an experience you had that illustrates the state of the union in our community,

and listen to other people's  stories.  Stories are no more than 3 minutes long.

Upcoming Events

B.R.I.D.G.E.S.  Sunday Jan. 27 (11:30am)  The youth will visit the Islamic Center in Athens.

We will meet with them at 11:30am in Athens, talk with the group before prayers, observe prayers

at 12:47pm, and share afterwards. Meet at FUUSM at 10:30am to carpool.  Please let Robin know 

if you plan to attend.  Adults are welcome.



Feb. 3 at 1pm. in the Fellowship Hall. FUUSM's Green Sanctuary is pleased to partner with the 

Social Justice Sunday program to offer a presentation on "Sustainability and Local Sourcing," 

This Social Justice Sunday program does double-duty, as it will also launch Green Sanctuary's 

Winter Gardening Series, "How Does Your Garden Grow?" which will continue the following three Sundays from 1-3 in the Fellowship Hall. Questions about the series may be addressed to coordinator Andrew Clovis at wardwellsmercy at gmail.com.
