[Fuusm-l] Sad News

Dear FUUSM Family,

Neva Rees has sailed away, after 97 good long years.  Her death was not unexpected, but we mourn the loss of our friend.  We remember her stories and recipes, especially her cookies.  Many of us have danced with Neva for birthdays, weddings, and new year’s eve parties.  A notable “Rosie the Riverter”, she spoke to several groups over the years for formal presentations and interviews,  including school assemblies.  She was faithful in doing her exercises every morning to stay healthy, and in her attendance at weekly Sunday services.  She was especially good at talking with new people during social hour and sharing how much her church family meant to her.  Neva was an inspiration to so many, and her legacy lives on.
Share the Love, she would want us to- especially with the GLBTQ family and the rainbow tribe.
She is sorely missed, but we have many happy memories to share and will celebrate her life together with her family later this Spring when the flowers are blooming.
