For this Sunday, April 14, 2019, the Today’s Issues group will discuss two
essays from the New York Review of Books

>From the April 4 issue, page 22, “The Chernobyl Syndrome

review of three books on the Chernobyl incident and implications for
nuclear safety.

>From the April 18 issue, page 14, “What Happened in Hanoi?
<https://www.nybooks.com/articles/2019/04/18/trump-kim-korea-meeting-hanoi/>”
about the failed negotiations between Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump and the
prospect for future negotiations or conflict with North Korea
