On this Sunday, Nov 4, the Today’s issues group will discuss two articles
from the October 25 issue of the New York Review of Books.

Page 14, Christopher Browning, “The Suffocation of Democracy” a discussion
of how the current period in US history resembles the period of the rise of
European fascism in the period between the world wars.

P. 46.  Adam Hochschild, “American Devilry” a review of a three books about
the history of the “America First” movement and anti-semitism and racism in
the US

The group meets at 9:30 in the parlor of the Religious Education building
next to the church.  Please do the reading and join our lively discussion.
