After a short service, all are invited to participate in our Community Card Project in the

Fellowship Hall or in decorating the Sanctguary and building exterior for the holidays.

BRIDGES- RE Class – (planning winter holiday program)

Going Forth (4th Sundays Split-the-Plate) Program NOVEMBER – goes to 

the Washington-Morgan County Community Action Secret Santa Program.  

We will also be collecting toys.  There will be a box in the Fellowship Hall.

Board Requests Holiday Remembrances for the FUUSM Staff

The FUUSM Board of Trustees is accepting contributions starting in December for the holiday season in order to give gifts to our staff. Throughout the year, they often go above the call of duty to insure that our church runs smoothly, and with these donations we can show our appreciation for their dedication. Please join me in pursuing this way of saying, "Thank you for being there" to our wonderful staff. You may put checks or money in the offering plate marked as" for staff gifts", or give it to any board member. Board members are as follows: Shari Ballantyne, Emily Keller, Willa O'Neill, Katy McDaniel, Michelle Wilson, Paul Dunn and Cory Sampson. While we would like to finalize this by December 18, we are more than willing to accept money for this at any time. We appreciated your generosity.

2018 Service Auction –CORRECTION!! Will be at Mtta. College-The GATHERING Bldg.

(the old Kroger bldg. on 7th St.)  Dec. 7th . Doors will open at 5pm. Cost- $10 covers a paddle, 

food and 10 tickets to place in the Country Store bags. Drinks are available for donations.  



Gratitude Practices:  Practice Thanks-giving

*Find a special way to express your gratitude to a part of your body; for example, give your feed a good massage.

*Write a letter to a relative in which you acknowledge the special role he or she plays in your family circle.  

       If possible, include an invitation to Thanksgiving dinner.

*Show activists in your community that you are thankful for their efforts by showing up at a meeting or volunteering

      time in their offices.
