*For Sunday, May 20, 2018 the Today’s issues group will discuss two
articles from the May 10 issue of the New York Review of books. 1. The Key
to Everything by Freeman Dyson. A review of Scale: The Universal Laws of
Growth, Innovation, Sustainability, and the Pace of Life in Organisms,
Cities, Economies, and Companies. By Geoffrey West. This one is only
online, not in the print edition, but it is reproduced in the attachment 2.
On page 9, Polymorphous Eden by Geoffrey O’Brien. A review of “Grant Wood:
American Gothic and Other Fables” an exhibition at the Whitney Museum of
American Art, New York City, March 2–June 10, 2018The group meets in the
Religious Education Building next to the Church at 9:30 on Sunday
