> June is for recognizing FAITHIFY-ers!
>
> June is the anniversary of Faithify.org <http://faithify.org/> - marking 4 years of building a new way to be in relationship with each other and funding our faith. Happy Birthday to FAITHIFY!
>
> As our birthplace, General Assembly is a chance for us to recognize and thank our wonderful UU Crowd, but not everyone will be with us in Kansas City. We'd like to take a moment to thank ALL the Faithify-ers who built this amazing community!
>
> If you are a campaign CREATOR: Thank you for bringing your hope and energy; Thank you for taking a faithful risk; Thank you for letting us share in your ministry!
>
> If you are a campaign FUNDER: Thank you for investing in our shared values; Thank you for your trust and enthusiasm; Thank you for lifting up your siblings in faith!
>
> You all are the heart of FAITHIFY!

> Here's the FAITHIFY section of a poster we are presenting with Chalice Lighters Programs at General Assembly.
>
> We are excited to start working more closely with District and Regional Chalice Lighters. Chalice Lighters are crowdfunding, too!

> "Campus Ministry Leadership Training"
>
> The Campus Ministry Leadership Training — held at the UUA at the beginning of April, and co-hosted by the UUA and Greater Worcester UU Campus Ministry — was a wonderful success. The day and a half-long training gathered together a group of about 20 students and religious professionals, who came both from around Massachusetts and from as far away as Virginia.
>
> The weekend allowed dedicated campus ministry leaders to share experiences from their diverse campus environments, articulate best practices, and learn new models and techniques for making this challenging ministry as vibrant as possible. We were all fed by the experience of holding this space together, finding others who are experiencing similar challenges, and taking the time to dream big about the future of UU campus ministry.

> "Supporting Our Guest in Sanctuary"
>
> First Parish in Bedford, MA has hosted a Central American woman in our sanctuary space since January 6, 2018. As her case against unjust deportation progresses, our guest lives in a beautiful, sun-lit space that was created after raising over $25,000 in two separate Faithify campaigns. These funds allowed us to construct and furnish a code-compliant apartment and shower. Faithify made it easy for our parishioners and those of nine other, interfaith, supporting congregations to express their opposition to current immigration policies by opening their wallets.
>
> Our guest is separated from her family, no longer able to financially support her children, and in fear of deportation. However, we have reason to hope for a successful adjudication of her case, and, in the meantime, she is embracing the life within our church walls and is buoyed by the loving support of all our volunteers.

> "Support Solar Power in Coal Country"
>
> The First Unitarian Universalist Society of Marietta (FUUSM), a UUA-certified Green Sanctuary congregation, intends to maximize the effectiveness of our solar panels.
> Since the end of our Faithify campaign we have raised additional funds through local efforts such that our matching goal of $10,000 was exceeded by several hundred dollars. We have already applied these funds to the retrofitting and insulation of the windows in the RE building. With the help of our most knowledgeable members, we are embarking on a strategic planning process to design an "energy framework" to maximize energy efficiency in both of our buildings, fully utilize the energy provided by our solar panels, and continue fund raising that will help us implement such a plan.
