Mon., Jan.15 - Holiday In-Service: A Brown Bag Lunch/Discussion (Parlor)

Wilderness Journeys, a video history of interviews with those who were change agents in the Black Empowerment Controversy of the UUA, will focus the discussion.



Sat. Jan. 20th Leadership Roundtable  9am. - 12 noon in the Social Hall. Representatives from FUUSM's committees will meet. Team-building exercises will support a kind of check-up for our Healthy Congregations work and a review of our Congregational System. Committee Chairs or representatives are invited to bring their “elevator speech” on the committee’s mission, update on any goals, and renew our sense of shared purpose and support at FUUSM.  - Submitted by Rev. Green Sanctuary's Annual Winter Garden Classes begin Jan. 21 at 1:30 in the Social Hall. Two classes will be presented at each session with a second class offered at 2:45. All classes are free and open to the public. This year's theme, "Gardening for a Healthy Planet," focuses on ecological approaches to gardening practices and incorporates a wide range of speakers.
