[Fuusm-l] Today's Issues Readings for January 7

For this Sunday January 7 the Today's Issues group will discuss two
articles from the December 7, 2017 issue of the New York Review of Books.

Page 29, Diane Ravitch "Big Money Rules" about wealthy right-wingers taking
over state governments

Page 52, David Cole, "Let They Buy Cake," about the gay marriage wedding
cake controversy

A copy of the readings is attached.

The group meets in the Religious Education building next to the church at
9:30 on Sunday mornings.  For the next two months, we will meet in a
classroom upstairs while the parlor will be used for the adult education
introduction to UU class.
