[Fuusm-l] Watch - Wait & Hope (or Help) - FUUSM Flood Watch

Dear FUUSM Folks-

We are all watching the news and waiting for more rain to fall-
The good thing is we have a Flood Procedure and a plan in place, with input from our dedicated Building & Grounds team.  We also had a practice drill last week which helped us discover the importance of a clear timeframe and decision points.

ALWAYS
We urge common sense and safety about your neighborhood and comfort driving in weather threatened situations.  Don’t try to come to services @ FUUSM if you can’t make it.  
We’ll miss you and catch-up with you later.

We hope and presume that we will have services on Sunday, but we will be watching the river levels with information from the National Weather Service and local measures.

Our Flood Procedure has us closing the sewer line when the river reaches @ 37-39 feet.
That means no bathrooms, coffee or dish washing – 
therefore no worship service or gardening class. 
*If the high water looks to arrive/crest after Sunday morning we will have services, and will hope to see some of you there, and then close the sewer line.

Watch for a final decision & announcement later on Saturday Night via email & Facebook. 
The call for volunteers will likely happen Sunday AM, in the event that we may need labor & lifting to secure and put up chairs, refrigerators, etc.
