YARD SALE - MAY 4, 5, & 6 in the Social Hall  Volunteers needed on Saturday and donations of goodies needed for the bake sale. 

   • No books or clothes

   • Preferred: toys, sporting goods, lawncare devices, tools, good furniture, kitchen items

Here's the schedule:

Thursday, May 3 - Pick up; Friday, May 4 - Set up (8:00 a.m.) and FUUSM only sales (5:00 p.m.); Saturday, May 5 - Open to the public (8:00 a.m.); Sunday, May 6 - Sale after the service; Monday, May 7 - Clean up.

If you would like to donate items before the sale weekend, we have storage space in town thanks to a generous volunteer.  Just contact John about early delivery. Please try to price your items to sell before you bring them in.

Distilled Wisdom of World Religions

Mid-Ohio Valley Interfaith presents a brief examination of Hinduism, Buddhism, Bahai, Confucianism, Daoism, Judaism, and Yoruba. Classes began on April 5 and continue on Thursdays through May 31, from noon - 1:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church. Presenters M.J. Ebenhack, Martha McGovern, and Carol Sedgwick. All welcome. No cost. Materials provided.

March for Moms - Rally to Improve Birth

Sunday, May 6,  12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Dils Center (521 Market St.) in Parkersburg, WV. Organized by ImprovingBirth.org: "Join us as we march for moms and rally to improve birth! Our local Rally is striving to make a difference in our own community! Many local organizations with resources to help moms during and after pregnancy will be there."
