[Fuusm-l] Kitchen Clean up

FUUSM Members & Friends:

     We have just acquired a new software package, called SignUpGenius, which will allow us to enter information on our kitchen clean-up roster. This package will store the information and send out reminders four days before one's assigned day for kitchen clean up. Each Sunday has four sign-up slots for kitchen clean-up.
  
    Barb Kidd has generously performed the task of setting up schedules for the entire year for our kitchen clean-up duties. She has recently resigned from this task, but before she did, she set up  a kitchen clean-up roster for the rest of the 2018 calendar year. . A problem we have seen with notifying people about their assigned dates as much as a year ahead of time is that they  may forget the dates to which they are assigned. We're hoping that the system of providing automatic reminders the week before will help resolve this problem.

     BTW, please be reminded if you need to find a substitute for kitchen clean up, use the address:

              rather than the entire FUUSM list. 

    SignUpGenius can be used to organize  other similar tasks such as the counting of the offering collection every Sunday and the grocery card sales team.  It can also be utilized to solicit volunteer sign-ups for one-day events or events that cover multiple days.

    Please be patient as we set up SignUpGenius for kitchen clean up and figure out what other uses we may have for this software.   Some of you may have already received an e-mail message from  SignUpGenius indicating that you have been signed up for kitchen clean up on a particular day.
