For this Sunday October 22 the Today's Issues group will discuss two
current issues: equal rights for women and a guaranteed annual income.
There are two readings from the October 22 issue of the New York Review of
Books:
page 6, Linda Greenhouse "Who Killed the ERA: The Battle over Women's
Rights and Family Values thart Polarized American Politics."
page 39 Benjamin Friedman, "Born to be Free: Basic Income a Radical
Proposal for a Free Society and a Sane Economy"
The group meets in the parlor of the religious education building next to
the church at 9:30 on Sunday morning. Please do the reading and join our
friendly discussion.
A copy of the readings is attached.
