[Fuusm-l] Today's Issues Skipping a Week, Readings for November 19

The Today's Issues group will not meet this Sunday November 12. It will
resume on Sunday November 19, giving you plenty of time to do the readings.

On November 19 we will discuss two articles from the November 9 issue of
the New York Review of Books.

Page 10 Johnathan Rauch, a review of *The Once and Future Liberal: After
Identity Politics* by Mark Lilla

Page 52 Susan Dunn, a review of "A Cold
Welcome: *The Little Ice Age and Europe's Encounter with North America *by
Sam White.

The group meets in the parlor of the Religious Education building next to
the church on Sunday mornings at 9:30.  Please do the readings and join our
next lively discussion on November 19.

A copy of the readings is attached for your convenience.
