INTRODUCTION TO REIKI

Marietta, Ohio Marietta, Ohio - Wednesday, Mar. 29 

7:00 pm, at 232 Third St, Marietta, OH (UU Church basement)

 

Led by Several Local Reiki Practitioner/Teachers 

 

Soul Connections Group will sponsor two introductory sessions preceding
startup of multi level Reiki courses in April in both locations.  Although
Soul Connections Group is not focused heavily on Reiki, it was formed by a
few Reiki practitioners/teachers who continue to teach classes.   Students
graduating from those classes often remain involved with the larger group
and aid in teaching subsequent classes.

 

Presently, we have offered courses in Marietta and Parkersburg once a year
due to the level of time and commitment it requires of the teachers.
Completing all 3 levels takes several months depending on how quickly and to
what extent students comprehend the concepts and techniques.  Students are
not required to attend all 3 levels, but must do so in order to receive
certification.  

 

We will provide attendees with a brief overview of Reiki and a general idea
of what is involved for students in one of our classes.   Classes in the two
locations differ somewhat due to individual teaching styles.  Our classes
are based on the traditional teachings of Usui from Japan.  Our method is
non-invasive and does not require a practitioner to be in physical contact
with the recipient.  Reiki is NOT a replacement for medical treatment nor do
we make any claim to being "healers".  Sample sessions will be available.

 

Open to the public. Love donations accepted to cover operating costs for the
collective group and offering free events.
