Just Dinner Potluck (6 pm) Fri., June 16 in the Social Hall. Please consider ethical & environmental impacts of the food you bring to share. Bring food to share that is homegrown, organic, local, vegetarian, humanely raised and slaughtered, fair trade, or otherwise “righteous.” 

We will discuss ethical eating during and after. 



F.U.U.S.M. and Rev. Hawbaker will be hosting The Mystical Arts of Tibet tours for the

Mid-Ohio Valley Multi-Cultural Festival in Parkersburg, (June 16-18).  Tibetan Buddhist monks 

>From Drepung Loseling Monastery in India will arrive Tues. June 13 and construct a sacred 

sand mandala in our FUUSM Sanctuary, have a presence at the MOV Multi-Cultural Festival and finish with a Closing Ceremony for the Mandala on Sunday June 18 @ 3pm, which will conclude by taking the sand to the Muskingum River.  If you can help with home hospitality or any other preparations and support, please contact Rev. Hawbaker.



Annual FUUSM Church Picnic/Potluck Brunch – Sun. June 18th -Parkersburg City Park – (10:30am) Shelter #10. Bring a large dish to share, place settings and drinks, Come enjoy brunch and at noon we will go to the main stage where Rev. Kat and the Tibetan Monks  will be part of the 

Interfaith Prayer Service. Also visit the Multi Cultural Festival.  There are picnic tables under the shelter or you can  bring chairs or blankets to sit around the shelter.



CALLING ALL GARDENERS & BAKERS

Dig up starts of plants; divide other plants; locate your ceramic pots; get rid of houseplants; plan to bake something to sell.  We’re having a Plant Sale and Solar Open House on June 25.  Bring plants on Friday, June 24, or early on Saturday morning for us to price.
