Hi all, My Quaker friend just sent this email to me , and shared with the
local Quakers, I thought the FUUSM members and friends would be interested
as well. check out this link-

compassionate-cities/

Did any of you catch this morning's WV Public Radio segment on
compassionate cities, and why compassion can actually be an 'economic
driver'? (...nice to learn about the political and social courage being
applied in our region.)

Quote from Louisville's compassionate city mayor Greg Fischer:

"For me, a city is a platform for human potential to flourish, and that's
my definition of compassion."

As a UU friend, and Quaker attender, I'm still learning the avenues of
communication with FUUSM, I hope it's ok to share this through the list
serve- please guide me if there are other actions that are more appropriate
( I not a Facebook user).
