BASIC ASTROLOGY COURSE taught by Andrew Kramer

Course covers 5 weeks, each Tuesday in January.  Each class builds upon the
one before it, so participants should plan to attend the course from the
beginning and in order.

 

Planets of Astrology (Class 1 of 5)

            In this class we will overview the astrological Planets
traditionally used to understand a persons' soul and life path. Each Planet
plays a role in shaping and molding us. We will overview all of them to
better know what the universe gifted us with and how to use it more
effectively. 

            The Planets covered will be:

            Sun: King of the Planets and the source of our true soul.

            Moon: Queen of the Planets and the reflection of thoughts and
feelings.

            Mars: General of the Planets; our divine energy and warrior
instinct. 

            Mercury: Crown Prince of the Pantheon; responsible for
communication and manifestation. 

            Jupiter: Spiritual Guru of the Royal Court of Planets; the One
who teaches true spirituality and religion. 

            Venus: Practical Guru of the Divine Court who instructs in the
arts and sciences of relationships and desire. 

            Saturn: Servant of the Pantheon carrying on the duty of service
to greater causes. 

            Each lives with a unique personality that reflects our own
character. When one of these planets is in a particular sign it flavors that
planet distinctly, causing it to act a certain way. When read in our chart,
it shows how we're born into a way of thinking, feeling, and being that is
reflected by the planets in different signs, etc.

            Join us for a fun and meaningful night of discovery as we
journey through the Kingdom of the Astrological Planets.

VISION BOARDS FOR THE NEW YEAR (Rex Scarberry & Valerie Wright)

Creating a vision board includes collecting images of the things you would
like to see manifested in your life.  These could be drawn or cut from
magazines, etc. to display on your board.   They serve as a reminder of what
you want every time you look at the board, so it should be placed somewhere
you will pass by it often.  Images in our mind are powerful tools for
manifesting.

Also, we will think about what the new year may hold for us.  As a group,
we'll write down what we want to leave behind and release it by way of
burning the papers.

 

Open to the public. Love donations accepted to cover group operating costs
and allow offering free events.
