[Fuusm-l] Fwd: Social Justice Sunday Topics

Hello Everyone!

We are looking for facilitators and topics for Social Justice Sundays in
2018.  These are discussions held from 1-3 pm on the first Sunday of every
month.  Topics can be presented by outside organizations interested in
sharing their social justice work with the community.

In January we will be discussing strategies and practices in non-violent
communication. This topic is brought to us thanks to the facilitator,
Andrew Clovis. Speakers are Katie McDaniel and Jeff Danner. Information
from the Southern Poverty Law Center will be shared. Hope to see you there.

So far we have discussed many issues from faith and sexuality, to animal
rights, to environmental justice, to LGBT healthcare issues locally. It's
been interesting. Join us for future conversations and please reach out if
you have an idea for future topics. We still need to fill the February spot.
