[Fuusm-l] Circle Supper Hosts

First UU Family,



Circle Suppers are a great way to get to know people in the congregation better.  The conversations are always interesting, the company enjoyable, and the food tasty.  And while they are potlucks, we still need someone to host them in their homes. 



We are recruiting hosts for the Feb.-June period next year.  The Circle Suppers are usually on the first Saturday of each month, but they could also be scheduled for the second Saturday for convenience or because of scheduling conflicts.  Please check your calendars and see if you could host a Circle Supper for one of these months:   

            Feb 3 or 10

            Mar 3 or 10

            Apr 7 or 14

            May 5 or 12

            Jun 2 or 9



Hosts typically provide the place, tableware and refreshments (and a dish if you want ).  We work within whatever limitations you may set (numbers of people, child-friendly house or not).  We even have a handy list which summarizes the details of hosting a Circle Supper.  In the past, people have hosted Circle Suppers at the Fellowship Hall (if they wanted more space or if a picnic got rained out) and even teamed up as hosts to spread the chores.  The main idea is to get together, have a good time, and get to know each other.  



So, if you have enjoyed our Circle Suppers in the past, please consider hosting one, and let me know if you can do it.  It is an effective way to enhance the life of the congregation, and it’s a lot of fun as well.
