[Fuusm-l] Comprehensive Congregational Assessment

Dear FUUSM members and friends:

An assessment offers an opportunity to reflect on who we are and the ways in which we carry on the mission and ministry of this congregation. It has been several years since the last comprehensive congregational assessment, years that have brought changes to our historic church: new members and friends, the passing of old friends, Evan Young’s two-year internship, and Reverend Kat’s sabbatical, to name only the most immediately memorable events.

To give a current picture of how we are doing, the Committee on Ministries is asking you to share your thoughts on a number of topics related to congregational life. Your answers to the congregational assessment survey questions will help the COM to have a better sense of the strengths and weaknesses of the ministries of this church. The survey is attached; we are asking that you submit it by Sunday, April 30.

There will be a basket at church for completed assessment forms, along with printed copies of the blank document for those without a printer at home. Completed assessments may also be left at the church office or e-mailed to Rebecca Phillips (bennphil at hotmail.com<mailto:bennphil at hotmail.com>).
