Attention Newcomers!  Our New UU Series starts September 18!

Unitarian Universalism is very different from traditional religions.Our 
approach to theology, our worship services, our shared ministry, our 
inclusiveness toward a variety of peoples and religious beliefs, our 
activism for social justice ….. in all these aspects we are different, 
sometimes markedly so.No wonder that it’s not easy for newcomers to 
figure out how to be a UU.

The New UU series is meant to help newcomers, new members, and new 
friends negotiate through these differences and find their way of 
fitting in.If you are new to Unitarian Universalism, we highly recommend 
that you attend this course.This series is not a recruiting tool for new 
members, but more importantly, it is a way for new people to learn what 
Unitarian Universalism is.Those who have taken this series reported that 
it was very helpful in their understanding of how to be a UU.

The New UU series will start on September 18 and last through November 
13.Over the 9 week period, we will be covering such topics as theology, 
UU history, worship, religious education, spiritual practice, social 
justice, governance and polity, and membership.

These sessions will be from 10am to 10:45am, Sunday mornings, in the 
Fellowship Hall.Drop-ins are welcome, but attending the whole series
