[Fuusm-l] 50,000 meals for Washington County.

FUUSM is sponsoring half a table with $500 and 7 volunteers for two hours on
Nov 5 at Marietta High School.  Just our half table would make around 1,923
meals for the county!



If someone wants to donate $350 we could double that to 3,846 meals.
 (Please contact me by Sunday if you plan to donate.)  We have too many
people volunteering to work and that's a great problem to have.  I will
contact volunteers individually to let you know if we can use you.  We have
about a full table of volunteers and only half a table of donations.

As a reminder the Americorp Hunger Project has organized the event.  In 2
hours on Nov 5th at Marietta High School from 1:30-3:30 volunteers will
package 50,000 dry meals of rice and beans to give to the food pantries in
this county. The meals  cost around 25 cents per serving.  All the food
will stay in this area.  The food pantries have worked out the details.

Instructions:

If you volunteered to give money - please put it in the offering made out
to FUUSM and mark it in the memo section for the 50,000 meals project.

If you volunteered to work I will contact you about what to do.  We have
way too many volunteers to work if we don't get more funds.
