You're Invited!!  Community Conversation on Race & Religion

TONIGHT - Mon. Nov. 21, 2016 (7-9pm) McDonough Auditorium, Marietta College.

Join Rev. Hawbaker and local civic leaders, college representatives, community advocates, and clergy for a panel discussion addressing race and religion. This conversation is open to all members of our community, as an opportunity to hear and share our experiences, values and commitment to a diverse and inclusive community. This is the first, of what we hope to be many conversations that address the challenges and opportunities of our community.

 

Memorial Service for Caroline Putnam - Saturday December 3rd @ 1:30pm in the Sanctuary. 

A potluck dinner will follow in the Fellowship Hall.  Please call the office if you can help with food donations, meal prep and clean-up.

 

Women's Group - Holiday Decorating/Potluck - Wed. 11/30      (3pm-Decorate, 6pm Potluck -Parlor)

 

Special Collection for Secret Santa: Each year we support Washington/Morgan County Community Action by contributing to the Secret Santa Program.  On Sunday, December 11th, we will have a special collection.  If you contribute with a check please make it out to: FUUSM and designate Secret Santa Fund on the Memo line. 

 

To our Anonymous "Secret Santa":   We truly appreciate your generosity and just want to make sure we honor your intentions - Do you want your gifts to go to the Secret Santa program sponsored by Community Action that gives Christmas gifts to families in need OR did you intend your gifts to go to FUUSM for some other purpose. Annual Holiday Card Project -Sun. Dec. 11 after worship.  All ages will be signing cards for shut-ins. There is a box by the piano in the F.Hall for card donations.
